Well I spent probably 20+ hours on this work. It's a combination of digital painting, some photoshop techniques, and imported drawings I did on paper. As you can see from the stock photo below, the top of her head was cut off, so I drew in the rest with my tablet and figured I might try drawing a bunch of swirls of hair and it all escalated from there.
The theme is this girl kind of tangled up in life. The colors show a more natural look. I also painted the hand on the left and made her face and skin look more painted while leaving more of a realistic look.
what kind of tablet do you have? and or, which one would you recommend for drawing/painting purposes. (or like similar works that you have)??? beautiful work btw

hey, thanks for the kind words. Right now i have both the Wacom Intuos 3 and 4 each 6x8 size (medium). I think the newer Wacom tablets are great. A bit of a learning curve but that is what I would recommend. I've heard some off brand tablets don't have quite the precision.
hiya, no problem thanks so much for the response! I was looking at the wacom intuos and the wacom bamboo create tablet. still reviewing them ^^ thanks so much! keep up the great work!
